I found this one odd compared to some of Mr. Theroux's other travel novels... still was written very well though. To follow someone through their writing over the years is very strange - reveal themselves in different light ( and shadow ), esp. with Paul's directness.

Hi Evers,
I ve bought this book thru amazon on the hopes it will give me account of ppls and places of the mediterian. is it any good description?

i ve tried to find travel books for the mediterian but only found ibn batuta and Paul Theroux :). i am planning a grand tour of the mediterian and i m looking for a guide, sth to go by...
